I do not profess to be an expert or even very knowledgeable about Tin or the mining of Tin.But I am proud of our heritage, and being a keen caver have always been interested in any hole in the ground. I have been in caves and mines of many types, and in many countries. One of the most memorable being my visit to Cooks Kitchen South Crofty in Camborne Cornwall.

Here in my own words and pictures is a thank you to the people who made this possible.

Some of the pictures on these pages will probably never ever be seen again, I hope this will bring back memories, and also be a tribute to the Cornish miners.
